You do not need a first or business ticket to use almost any of these. The terminal is sold on its own, so an economy passenger gets exactly the same private immigration and the same car to the aircraft.
The instinct is that a private terminal is the far end of a first-class ticket. For most of them it isn't: you buy the terminal directly, and the cabin printed on your boarding pass is beside the point. Only two entries in the index genuinely require a premium ticket, the Lufthansa First Class Terminal and Heathrow's Windsor, and they're flagged as such. Everything below is open to any cabin.
The quiet trick of this whole category: the experience that looks like the reward for a £6,000 first-class fare is often available, à la carte, on a £40 economy one.
