Private terminals you can book on any airline

Most of the world's private terminals are run by the airport, not an airline, so you can book them whoever you're flying. These are the ones with no carrier, alliance or cabin tie at all.

A private terminal tied to a single airline is really a first-class perk in disguise. The ones below are the opposite: independent operations you can book on a budget carrier or a flag carrier alike, because the terminal, not the airline, is the thing you're buying. A handful of carrier-tied terminals exist too; they're listed in the index, just not here.

If you're flying first on Lufthansa or SWISS, the carrier-only terminals at Frankfurt are worth knowing. But for everyone else, this is the list that doesn't care what's on your boarding pass.

Every price and access rule is sourced and dated on its own terminal page. We cite or leave blank; we never guess.
